Je vous signale quand même la nouvelle édition "spéciale" du livre "Challes avec deux ailes", enrichie et mise à jour par rapport à l'édition 2012. Cet ouvrage sera mis en vente à partir de demain par le Centre Savoyard de Vol à Voile Alpin de Challes-les-Eaux, promoteur de cette opération. Pourquoi demain ? Parce que c'est ce samedi 14 mai que le CSVVA va fêter ses 50 ans. Des conférences sont également prévue toute la semaine qui suit. Récit très fouillé qui montre la contribution remarquable des Hänle, de Streifly... de la compléxité de se lancer dans la construction de planeurs - à un moment ou le marché était très porteur! - .. et des coups tordus. Côté planeurs, comme il y a une riche biographie de Louis Notteghem, ne ratez pas tout l'épisode de son passage à Challes-les-Eaux en 1945-47, souvent raconté par lui-même via sa correspondance. C'est sa découverte du vol à voile, ses premiers exploits en planeur, sa rapide évolution vers un poste d'instructeur...
