3) Firmware update v4.06 and manuals

The firmware update v4.06 will be available by April 15. The update makes no changes to the collision avoidance functions, but
improves SD-card usage especially for those users who relying on FLARM flight recording for fleet statistics and invoicing. The user
manuals have also been updated to better explain the use of the SD card.

In addition, the update enables flight-recording for the first device generation F4, sold in Switzerland in early 2004 to the first
FLARM customers, who can now also use our popular online RF-range analysis tool.

This upgrade, as well as the regular updates of the obstacle data, is provided for free.
Please be reminded that the next mandatory firmware upgrade is scheduled for winter 2010/2011, as by March 01, 2011 the current
firmware expires to ensure ongoing compatibility while continuing to improve the functionality.

4) FlarmTool v2.0

Together with the new firmware, we introduce the improved PC-software FlarmTool 2.0. In addition to the existing capabilities, it
allows for creating and editing configuration files for those users who configure their systems mainly via SD-card. For the
declaration of IGC-tasks (only for IGC approved devices), we recommend the free offline- and online-tools available from
www.segelflug-software.de, as well as the many PDA applications available.
